Arusha Birdwatching Excursion

Tanzania is an excellent destination for birders and over 1 388 different species of birds have been recorded in the country. Besides Lake Manyara (with its vast flocks of rose-coloured flamingos) and Arusha National Parks, which are famous for water birds and other savanna and forest species.

All the game parks in Tanzania have an amazing array of bird life including Eurasian migrants. From the gigantic Marshall Eagle to the delicate sunbird, the elusive Shoebill to the omnipresent Marabou, there is something for every twitcher!
