Dare to Sit in Devil’s Pool?

Not for the fainthearted, but definitely worth it for its dramatic views of Victoria Falls, take a plunge into Devil’s Pool. The area, also known as Livingstone Island in Livingstone, Zambia, is famous for its natural rock pool, which was created by thousands of years of erosion.

It sits on a rocky ledge, right at the edge of Victoria Falls and has created a barrier that allows you to safely sit in the pool without getting swept over the edge of the falls. This incredible adrenaline rush is heightened by the fact that just metres away, the flowing water rushes past and drops almost a kilometre to unite with the powerful waterfalls.
