The Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel is located in the suburbs of Cape Town at the foot of Table Mountain. Made unmistakeable by its pink exterior, the hotel was painted pink in 1918 for peace. The hotel has played host to Winston Churchill, John Lennon and Nelson Mandela.
