Morukuru Owner’s House
Morukuru Owner’s House is located in a private concession in the south-eastern corner of the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa’s North West Province. Madikwe is a 75 000 hectare Big 5 non-malaria reserve, just 4 hours from Johannesburg. Here you can satisfy your craving for exclusivity, while still enjoying some of southern Africa’s most productive wildlife interactions in the company of specialist guides.
This ultra luxurious home is tucked under the leafy canopy of an ancient Morukuru tree (Tamboti Tree), on the banks of the Marico River. It is available on an exclusive-use basis so there are never any other guests besides you and those you choose to accompany you. It comes with your own dedicated team of staff, including your own private guide, tracker, host, butler, chef and housekeeping staff. The house, which is ideal for honeymooners, couples or a small family, has two huge en-suite bedrooms and a choice of shared spaces. Whether reclining together by your infinity pool, or alone in your private elevated sala, or just lying in bed with the doors wide open, the combination of dappled shade and the sound of nature is deeply restorative. The house includes a private 14 m long pool, a wine cellar, a tree top sala, a large outdoor deck, a boma, an outdoor bath and river front location.
