On the edge of Chobe National Park, home to the world’s largest population of elephants, is the award-winning luxury safari lodge, Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero. It offers unparalleled views across the floodplains straddling the Botswana, Namibian and Zambian borders. The large, exceptional suites flaunt clean lines and natural materials, the perfect blend of modern design and distinct traditional African finishes, and feature heavenly beds, generous freestanding baths, and rain showers.

All 15 of Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero’s suites command fabulous views and come with every convenience guests could hope for, including your own private garden where you can sip cocktails or enjoy a private dinner served under the African sky. Each suite offers a freestanding bath tub, as well as an indoor and outdoor shower. The rooms are equipped with hairdryer, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, in-room safe, mosquito nets and a mini bar. There are three Family Suites that have the addition of an extra bedroom. The romantic Pool Suite features a private plunge pool, a private deck where guests will be able to enjoy private dinners for two under the stars (weather permitting) and special turn downs every night.

Things to be aware of

Please note the luggage restriction for all flights is 20kg per person in a soft-sided bag.

Children aged 15 years and younger are required to share with an adult.

A private vehicle must be booked for game drives for families with children aged 5 and under.

Electricity supply is a combination of a silent packed generator and a battery system.

Kitchens aren’t strictly halaal and the chefs are not trained in halaal food preparation.

Unfortunately, the lodge is unable to arrange kosher meals.
