Singita Sasakwa Lodge

Built in the style of a stately Edwardian manor house, Singita Sasakwa Lodge is positioned on Sasakwa Hill in the Grumeti Reserves, northern Tanzania, and offers guests sweeping views over the plains of the Serengeti. The lodge’s grand entrance leads to elegant rooms of generous proportions, wide wraparound verandas and rolling lawns. The traditional glamour of Venetian mirrors, cut-glass crystal, silver candelabras and antiques are combined with animal hides, local artefacts and tribal cushions. Its refined splendour blend authentic East African influences with European style and ensconces guests in comfort, luxury and old-world elegance.

The lodge has nine private cottages with one, two or three bedrooms, all with private infinity pools, and also a four-bedroom villa. From elegant afternoon teas on the veranda to wine-paired dinners on the lawn, every experience is memorable and overflowing with special details. A spa, gym, tennis courts and world-class equestrian centre provide a multitude of activities in-between game drives.

Why we like it here

The views from the lodge are endless over the majestic Serengeti plains, and at certain times of the year there is the marvel of the annual migration of zebra and wildebeest – widely known as the greatest natural spectacle on earth.

Take some “me-time” and relax with a massage at the spa, or in your room.
