African Bush Camps Bumi Hills Safari Lodge

Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is something of a haven of serenity, set on a range of remote hills in one of Zimbabwe’s finest wilderness locations. With the Zambezi escarpment as its backdrop and overlooking the eternal shimmering waters of Lake Kariba below, it is utterly captivating. Game viewing opportunities are plentiful, with animals roaming freely between Matusadona National Park, Bumi Hills private concession and the alluring Lake Kariba.

The lodge consists of ten stylish suites, each with spectacular and uninterrupted vistas of the lake and its surrounds. The interiors have been beautifully finished in a fusion of contemporary western and African styles, which give Bumi Hills the feel of a secret African Riviera.

It also has its own 2-bedroomed private villa, the Baobab Villa, complete with its own living room bar, indoor and outdoor dining decks, a private butler, safari guide and vehicle.

At centre stage of the lodge is the beautiful infinity pool that blends effortlessly into the lake horizon. From here you can enjoy the intimate wine and dining terrace, and marvel at the fiery golden sunset over Lake Kariba.
