Vumbura Plains

Luxurious Vumbura Plains lies in an area that is a mix of water and dry land in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. With the diversity of wildlife on offer here, of both herbivores and predator species, land and water activities are possible. Guests get to enjoy an all-round African experience in vehicles, mekoro and boats.

Vumbura Plains comprises two satellite camps: Vumbura North and South Camps are two identical camps next to each other, yet they both operate fully independently with their own kitchens, main area with an expansive vista across the floodplains, managers etc. and are connected by a pathway. The 14 rooms, raised off the ground, are unique and contemporary in design, with extensive use of light, wood and space. Each includes a sunken lounge, sala, and plunge pool. The two family suites have private decks linking the two separate rooms.
